 Dual Tank Water Softener System 

Twin-Tank Water Softener Systems provide continuous 24 hour soft water even while backwashing. The control valve monitors both tanks and has one tank "in service" and one tank in "standby" at all times. When the "in service" tank becomes exhausted, the control valve switches service to the "standby" tank. The control valve then regenerates the exhausted tank and places it in "standby" mode.

Use where continuous soft water is desired or in high water hardness situations where high salt usage is likely. The Twin-Tank Water Softener System needs no tank reserve because it regenerates immediately (versus 2:00 in the morning delayed regeneration), so it's salt usage is highly efficient. Salt savings of 25 - 30% over single tanks are not uncommon. All Twin-Tank Water Softener Systems are demand-based and measure water usage, regenerating on actual water used. The 9000 also regenerates and backwashes with soft water. No clocks to set.

The Fleck 9000 64,000 grain dual tank system comes with two 12x52 resin tanks, 2.0 cubic feet of Purolite 100 resin for each tank, 1" riser tubes, Fleck 9000 metered 3/4" control valve with 3/4" inlet/outlet Noryl yoke, Large 18x40 brine tank with salt grid and safety overflow float assembly. Floor space required is 51x15x56. Includes 1” bypass valve. High flow rate—17 gallons per minute.
